Subway
The subway is one of the most common types of
transportation. I take the subway every day. The train
sometimes being crowded, we have to stand all the
way home. Generally speaking, most people in our
country are used to standing on the train especially
during rush hours. Considering many workers get out
from the office around 5:00PM to 7:00PM, the trains
are expected to be busy at this time. Work being
over, workers rush home. One evening, I went home late. Thankfully the subway wasn’t that jam-packed.
The train being empty, I could sit down. I listened to
music with my eyes closed.

Thankfully= synonyms mercifully  happily  luckily
