Japanese Temples
Japan is known for its thousands of temples. Every city in Japan has at least one, with Kyoto having the most number of temples. Sacred Buddhist objects are kept and displayed in these temples. When visiting sacred temples, people must observe calm and respectful behavior at all times. Japanese people can pray, reflect, and maintain positivity in such temples, so they go to these sacred places.

Then, before we start eating, we say “itadakimasu”. which means to receive the life of ingredients. We thank them for their dedication to keep our lives.
I have never encountered the nations which pray with this kind of short phrase before each meal in the world.
I believe that this kind of spiritual connection from producers to consumers is a major reason why Japanese food is said to be the best in the world.
