Hana: Hi Daisy. How are your music studies going?

Daisy: They’re going well, although I currently have a lot of music to memorize. The classical pieces I find easier, but we’re studying jazz this semester.

Hana: I love jazz. I used to hear it a lot in my childhood because my father was always listening to it.

Daisy: Really? I don’t dislike jazz; but I've always preferred classical music. However, I’m enjoying learning about jazz music. Maybe after this semester I’ll reconsider my tastes.

Hana: Well, diversity in tastes is probably a good thing! Learning about different genres

{ZHänrə} is certainly useful from an educational point of view.

Daisy: That’s true. Different genres contain elements of one another, but I find it very informative comparing them.

ナ:こんにちは、デイジー。 音楽の勉強は順調ですか?

Daisy: 順調に進んでいますが、今は覚えなければならない音楽がたくさんあります。 クラシックの曲の方が簡単だと思いますが、今学期はジャズを勉強しています。

ハナ:私はジャズが大好きです。 子供の頃、父がよく聴いていたのでよく耳にしました。

デイジー: 本当ですか? 私はジャズが嫌いではありません。 しかし、私はいつもクラシック音楽を好んでいました。 でも、楽しんでます
ジャズ音楽を学ぶ。 今学期が終わったら、自分の好みを再考するかもしれません。

ハナ:まぁ、好みの多様性っていいことなんでしょうね! さまざまなジャンルについて学ぶことは、教育の観点から確かに有益です。

デイジー:そうです。 異なるジャンルにはお互いに要素が含まれていますが、それらを比較することは非常に有益だと思います.

1. What music genres are most popular in your country?

In my country, the most popular music genres is pops, paticulary Kpop is supported by young ages.

2. What music genres do you like listening to?

My profession is regarding to the genres of the classic music, that means I have to listen to music with concentration having a music sheet and/or a music score.

3. Do you listen to different music genres depending on what you are doing or where you are?
When I make myself relax feeling, I often listen to genres of Jazz and musical songs. Miss Salonga is one of my preffereces.
